      Nick Hilscher sings and his big band swings in a concert that will bring holiday cheer.  The program will include selections from Frank Sinatra’s Christmas recordings as well as many of those incredibly popular hits throughout Ol’ Blue Eyes’ career such as I’ll Never Smile Again and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.  Nick Hilscher, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, is a first rate singer of the American Songbook with musical influences from Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and Frank Sinatra.  He was the featured male vocalist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra starting in 1998 and returning from 2000 to 2005, taking off time to graduate from Samford University with a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance.  He performed an average of 300 shows a year with the Glenn Miller Orchestra touring at a variety of respected venues.  He recorded his first solo album Nick Hilscher Sings with the Glenn Miller Orchestra in 2002 and released his newest album solo album in 2009 with big band, Young and Foolish.
