Due to the spreading COVID-19 virus and federal, state and local public health guidelines, The State Theatre has been forced to cancel or reschedule our calendar of events. All ticket and package purchases will be honored for the rescheduled date, but if that date does not work with your calendar, our box office will issue credits. Or, you can donate the price of the ticket (a deductible gift) to The State Theatre.
Our staff is working hard with agents, managers, and bands to schedule new show dates that fit with performers’ new touring schedules. We appreciate your patience while we work to fit these puzzle pieces together. New show dates will be announced via our website, social media, and email. Please email us with any questions or concerns.
You can generously support The State Theatre by donating, renewing or becoming a member, or buying gift certificates. Thank you for supporting The State Theatre.
As we look forward to welcoming our patrons back, the health and safety of our community is our highest priority and we are committed to following the guidance of leading public health agencies. In accordance with these guidelines and industry best practices we are instituting the following protocols:
The State Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to entertain, enrich, educate, and inspire the residents of Centre County and beyond. COVID-19 has put the State Theatre under tremendous burden as we find ourselves unable to open our doors to the public and needing to reschedule our programming. We’ve recently adjusted our refund policy to reflect the impacts that those schedule changes may have on our patrons.
Every donation that we get right now goes a long way toward sustaining our operations during this period. Please consider, if you’re able, rather than taking a cash refund, donating the value of your ticket(s) to support our non-profit mission. These donations are sustaining for us.
If you’re eligible for a refund based on the below criteria, and would like a cash refund, please contact us at boxoffice@thestatetheatre.org.
All sales are final; the State Theatre does not provide cash refunds for previously purchased tickets except under certain circumstances as described below. If you know 24 hours in advance of an event that you can no longer attend the event you’ve purchased tickets to, you may call the Box Office at 814.272.0606 x301 to see if exchanges are available for that specific event.
The State Theatre produces and presents the majority of events that take place in the Friedman Auditorium and Attic. If you’re unsure whether you’ve bought tickets to a State Theatre-produced event or a 3rd party rental, please feel free to get in touch with us at boxoffice@thestatetheatre.org.
All ticket holders will be given the option to receive:
The State Theatre stages events throughout the year that are rentals by third party presenters. If you’re unsure whether you’ve bought tickets to a State Theatre-produced event or a 3rd party rental, please feel free to get in touch with us at boxoffice@thestatetheatre.org.
Don’t miss out on great upcoming events!
