2023 Oscar Nominated Short Films – Animated Shorts
Date
- Fri, Feb 24, 2023
- Expired!
Time
- 7:00 pm
Cost
- Adults - $14 (includes fee); Students - $11 (includes fee)
Location
The Animated program features one adult-oriented title (MY YEAR OF DICKS). As in previous years, we will include a title card that will appear just before this film, which will be the final film in the line-up. The card will stay on screen for 30 seconds so that patrons have time to leave the theater if they choose to. Another animated short, THE FLYING SAILOR, includes some full-frontal nudity of the titular sailor but is otherwise unoffensive (and a really nice film).
For the 18th consecutive year, ShortsTV and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films, opening on Feb. 17th. With all three categories offered – Animated, Live Action and Documentary – this is your annual chance to predict the winners (and have the edge in your Oscar pool)! A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world, don’t miss this year’s selection of shorts. The Academy Awards take place Sunday, March 12th.
