Set in 1670s London, in the Teale Coffeehouse, Celadine, by Charles Evered, is at once funny and touching. Concealed identity, humor (some of it bawdy), and intrigue. A feisty playwright and her tough companion run a coffeehouse, hosting an odd lot of mysterious guests. Serious fun.
