Heroes & Villains
See the students of the Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop (CPDW) in “Heroes & Villains” at 7:00 PM, Sunday, April 30th, at the State Theatre in downtown State College. Please join us as we explore the good and the bad.
Selections include a variety of ages and dance styles, from classic heroes like Soldiers and the Founding Fathers to modern heroes like Matilda and Mario & Luigi, from familiar villains like Vampires and the Big Bad Wolf to more the more abstract like Hunger and the Seven Deadly Sins. There is sure to be much to entertain everyone.
Children from the creative movement, preballet, ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and musical theatre dance classes will participate, along with adult ballet, modern, lyrical/jazz, tap, and hip hop classes. The production will be choreographed by the CPDW faculty, Jill A. Brighton, Director, Christina Ford, Emma Hogan, Haylei Libran, Ruth Packard, and Karen Stoner.
