This State College-based quintet returns to The State Theatre to bring you the first live jazz since February, 2020. You’ll hear great tunes from classic and modern jazz eras.

Trumpeter Barry Long is the director of jazz studies at Bucknell University. His own group Freedom Songs has performed at the State several times.

Kevin Lowe is the drummer in the Zeropoint Big Band, Erin Condo & the Hoofties, and Lemont. He is widely known as a sensitive and versatile musician.

Bob Hart is the bassist in Zeropoint and Pure Cane Sugar. Bob has toured with Debbie Harry, Van Dyke Parks, and Kat Edmondson.

Saxophonist Rick Hirsch is the musical director of Zeropoint, and has been presenting exciting jazz shows in Central PA for over 20 years. He has performed with the Four Tops, the Temptations, Max Roach, and Tito Puente.

Pianist Clay Wulbrecht is a graduate of the esteemed jazz studies program at Indiana University, and moved to State College shortly before the pandemic. He has quickly become a key member of the local jazz scene.
