The State Theatre is looking for a full-time Operations Manager to lead a team of customer-service oriented team members in providing an excellent customer experience for theatre patrons and performing artists.
The ideal candidate will be this type of person: diplomatic; service-oriented; resourceful and proactive in problem-solving; ambitious; strong verbal and written communicator; and enthusiastic;
With these skills and experience: hospitality industry experience; management experience; facility/building management; inventory management; and performing arts theatre experience or similar venue (preferred);
To achieve these results: high customer experience ratings; clean and sanitary facility; and meet revenue goals for food, beverage and merchandise sales;
By doing these types of things: be present at theatre events unless approved by the Board; collaborate with strategy and development partner to achieve goals; hire and build a cohesive, engaged, and service-oriented team; welcome VIP patrons and performance artists; and select and stock food and beverage supplies.
This position is full-time and reports to the Board of Directors. This position will receive employment benefits such as healthcare insurance and paid time off.
