The Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund presents the 13th Annual “Rock the 80s” benefit concert to support local cancer patients. Please join us on Saturday, February 15th at 7 p.m. at The State Theatre for an awesome evening of totally rad 80’s music performed by talented local bands at this highly anticipated event. This year, to celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend, each band will be playing either one love song for our couples, or one breakup song for our singles.

80’s attire is highly encouraged! There will be a costume contest with prizes awarded for Best Solo Costume and Best Duo/Group Costume. To sign up, please check in at the BPF table in the theater lobby upon arrival at the event. Finalists will be notified by text before intermission.

The Totally Rad Reception pre-party will be held at the Kish Expect More Store on 114 S. Allen Street from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cost includes beer, wine, and an array of appetizers. Reception tickets are limited.

About The Bob Perks Fund

The Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund helps ease the financial burden of individuals and families in our community who are battling cancer by providing funding for basic necessities so their focus is on treatment and recovery.

Since our inception in 2006, the Bob Perks Fund Cancer Assistance Fund has raised and allocated over 2.5 million dollars to local cancer patients facing financial hardship in Blair, Centre, Clearfield, and Huntingdon Counties. In 2021, Mifflin and Juniata counties were added to the BPF service area. While the emotional strain of a potentially fatal disease is enormously stressful, it is totally overwhelming when a family is forced to decide between buying food or heating their home. This is where the Bob Perks Fund steps in, providing short-term financial assistance to cancer patients who are unable to pay for basic necessities such as rent, utilities, and food while they are undergoing cancer treatments.
