The State is a beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre, seating 554 in the Main Auditorium and featuring an intimate, smaller space for performances upstairs known as The Attic. We boast a 29′x40′ stage, 88 dimmers, a front-center hydraulic lift, and a powerful new projector.
Making our beautiful facility a home away from home for local artists and arts groups is perhaps the most important part of our mission. It is a pleasure for our staff to work with you to “make your dreams come true” by performing at The State Theatre.
If you are booking an artist who would like to perform at the theatre please contact Greg Gabbard at programming@thestatetheatre.org.
If you are interested in renting the State Theatre for an event of production, please use our online Rental Request Form. After receiving your form, we will contact you as soon as we are able to discuss rental rates and technical costs for the Friedman Auditorium or Attic spaces.
