Location
See the students of the Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop (CPDW) in “Snow Day” at 7:00 PM Sunday, December 15th, at the State Theatre in downtown State College. Join us as we celebrate all the merrymaking and mischief we get into on a snow day. Selections include a variety of ages and dance styles inspired by snow day activities and adventures, from Sleeping In and Snowball Fights to Flight Delays and Zoom Meetings. Children from the preballet, ballet, modern, jazz, tap, lyrical, and musical theatre dance classes will participate, along with adult ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop classes. The production will be choreographed by the CPDW faculty, including Jill A. Brighton, Director, Christina Ford, Erin Hanses, Emma Hogan, Ruth Packard, and Karen Stoner.
About The Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop
The Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop (CPDW) is located at 101 South Fraser Street in downtown State College, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1969 by LaRue Allen, the Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop has provided the highest caliber dance training to our students in a broad range of classes for over 50 years.
At CPDW, our goal is to provide our students with a well-rounded dance education. Students take classes, perform in a variety of venues, and may choose to develop new skills in dance instruction and choreography.
