Singing in the Rain

Silent screen star Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and studio pianist Cosmo Brown (Donald O’Connor) learn to adjust to the advent of sound, while dealing with the temperamental Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen), a leading lady whose voice put the siren in screen siren. Like it or not, Don’s career is tied to Lina, who longs for their fake off-screen romance to be real. When Don meets aspiring actress Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds), he may have discovered just the voice he needs to save his career and his love life.
