The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Children under age 17 require an accompanying parent or guardian (age 21 or older) to attend R rated performances. No outside props will be allowed.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical science fiction comedy horror film directed by Jim Sharman. The screenplay was written by Sharman and Richard O’Brien based on the 1973 musical stage production, The Rocky Horror Show, music, book and lyrics by O’Brien. The production is a satirical tribute to the science fiction and horror movies of the 1930s through early 1970s. The film stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick along with cast members from the original productions.
Friday, October 27th
PROPS NIGHT: Don’t miss the Rocky Horror Pre-Party at Chumley’s from 8-10 PM: bloody good food until 9 PM, ghastly cocktails, costumes, decorations, music and dancing all night long. Get your glamour shots at Chumley’s before the show. Their decorations are the BOMB!
Then head over to The State Theatre at 9 PM to grab your prop bags, some specialty cocktails, and music provided by DJ Johnny. The screening of the cult-classic movie will kick-off at 10 PM!
Prop bags will be made by and sold to benefit Centre LGBTQA Support Network. Included in the prop bags are mini water guns, bubbles, newspaper page, toilet paper, bell, party hat, noisemaker, cards, and glowsticks.

COSTUME CONTEST: Chumley’s will be celebrating Rocky Horror ALL NIGHT. Enjoy pre-show small plates at Chumley’s until 9 PM. Specialty cocktails, costumes, photo ops and more!
Join us at the Theatre, starting at 8 PM for some cocktails, and music provided by DJ Elbow Knee Knee. Wear your best Rocky Horror OR Halloween costume for your chance to win a prize package from Chumley’s, Centre LGBTQA Support Network, and The State Theatre. The screening will begin at 9 PM!
